Here’s a general office removal checklist:
Preparation:
- Create a timeline for the move and assign tasks
- Notify stakeholders, customers, and suppliers of the move
- Hire a reputable removal company and obtain quotes
- Obtain necessary permits and permissions for the move
- Organize a walk-through of the old and new office with the removal company
Packing:
- Label boxes and items clearly and comprehensively
- Create an inventory of items to be moved
- Pack essential items and equipment separately
- Label and disconnect all electrical equipment
- Disconnect phones and internet connections
